Welcome to St Anne's
On behalf of the staff and Governors here at St Anne’s, I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website. We hope that you find our website informative and useful. If there is anything that you cannot find, please contact the school and we will be more than happy to help.
St Anne’s is a Catholic primary school for children aged 3 to 11. The children are taught in eight single-age classes, including a nursery class for our youngest children. We are proud to be part of the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust, a family of Catholic schools working together to provide the very best education for our children. We continue to celebrate and nurture the unique identity of St Anne’s, working closely with our parish, families and wider community.
Within our school day, we lead the children in the understanding and practice of our Catholic Faith. We welcome children of other faiths and include provision for their spiritual growth within our Catholic ethos. The children play, learn and pray together happily, and the diversity of our school community contributes to their social, spiritual and cultural development.
Here at St Anne’s, our core values of Love, Responsibility and Respect ensure that all members of our community can live out our mission statement:
‘We Grow Together in God’s Love.’
These values work alongside the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust values of Humility, Faithfulness and Service. Together, they help us to develop children who are kind, respectful, responsible and compassionate, who recognise their God-given gifts and use them to make a positive difference to others.
Our high expectations and clear behaviour policy ensure that all children are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our highly motivated and dedicated staff ensure that all children feel part of God’s family and are encouraged to try their best in all that they do.
We pride ourselves on creating a broad and balanced curriculum in which all children can develop their God-given talents and ‘live life to the full’ (John 10:10). Our aim is to provide a rich, fun-filled curriculum which develops the whole child through high-quality teaching, learning and first-hand experiences.
Our children are at the heart of everything we do at St Anne’s. Their emotional health and well-being is equally as important as their academic achievements. We want every child to feel safe, valued, loved and successful, growing in confidence and developing the knowledge, skills and faith they need to flourish.
As part of the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust, we look forward to continuing to grow together with our children, families, parish and wider school community.
We Grow Together in God’s Love.
Thank you for visiting our website.
