Our Values at St Anne's RC Primary

Dear Visitor,

On behalf of the staff and Governors here at St Anne’s I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website. We hope that you find our website informative and useful. If there is anything that you cannot find, please contact school and we will be more than happy to help.

St. Anne’s is a Voluntary Aided Roman Catholic primary school for children aged 3 to 11. The children are taught in eight single age group classes, including a nursery class for our youngest children. The school works under the trusteeship of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford, is governed by its own Governing Body, and maintained by Oldham Local Authority.

Within our school day, we lead the children in the understanding and practice of our Catholic Faith. We welcome children of other faiths, and include provision for their spiritual growth within the overall catholic ethos. The children play, learn and pray together happily and the diversity of our school community, within this catholic ethos, contributes to the children’s social, spiritual and cultural development.

Here at St Anne’s our core values of love, responsibility and respect ensure all members of our community can live out our mission statement: ‘We Grow Together in God’s Love.’ Our high expectations and our clear behaviour policy ensures that all children are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our highly motivated and dedicated staff ensure that all children feel part of God’s family and that they are encouraged to try their best in all that they do.

We pride ourselves on creating a broad and balanced curriculum in which all children can develop their God given talents and ‘live life to the full’ (John 10:10). Our aim is to provide a rich, fun-filled curriculum which develops the whole child through high quality teaching, learning and first hand experiences. Our children are at the heart of everything we do at St Anne’s and their emotional health and well-being is equally as important as their academic achievements.

Thank you for visiting our website
